Cellulose Insulation

Cellulose is an insulation made out of recycled newspaper and money that is blow-in to the walls of a home and provides a tight seal that is far more efficient at containing energy than fiberglass. Contrasted with fiberglass, cellulose insulation repels rodents because it is treated with boric acid, which also makes cellulose fire resistant. When properly installed, cellulose insulation will never settle or decompose and will last the life of the house.

With all cellulose installations GreenSeal offers our Home Energy Audit service. This assessment tests your home to see where energy is being lost so the best strategy can be implemented to fix the problem, saving you the most money on your energy bill. The assessment will also test for indoor air quality problems such as Carbon Monoxide, Radon and mold spores, which can pose serious health risks.
